It takes courage and vigilance to create a context where self-love can emerge.

Welcome. You have already taken the first courageous step toward getting the help you or someone you love needs.

I commend you for taking a step toward self-love whether for you, your child, or your family.

I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Seattle, serving clients in Washington state. Land acknowledgements are not new and date back centuries for indigenous people. In honor and with gratitude for the land and the first people of Seattle, the Coast Salish People and Duwamish Tribe who are still here, I acknowledge that we are on their traditional and stolen land. To learn more and pay real rent, see realrentduwamish.org.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families, especially those who feel outside of the dominant culture. I provide relational psychotherapy from an attachment-focused perspective to assist clients on their journeys and I am passionate about and practice with a social justice and neurodivergent-affirming lens. I am deepening my understanding and practice of decolonializing therapy and know the inherent complexities of the mental health system in the US. I provide individual therapy for adolescents, adults, and and dyadic therapy for parents and their children. At this time, sessions are currently through video or phone only.

My areas of treatment focus:

  • Identity and issues around Belonging

  • Attachment and Relationship issues

  • Anxiety and Self-worth issues

  • Understanding Personal and Family Neurodivergence

  • Life Transitions

  • Grief and Loss

  • Transracial Adoption questions

  • Developmental Trauma and associated behaviors

  • Family of Origin issues

  • Racial Issues

  • Cross-Cultural Issues

If you are interested in scheduling an initial appointment, I invite you to email me or leave a message for me indicating you would like to set up a new client appointment and what your time preferences are.
